As a Visual Merchandiser Lead at Mark’s, you’ll use your “eye for style” to create visual displays that enhance the appearance of our store while adhering to guidelines. You will work in conjunction with the management team to plan and execute departmental standards & initiatives and execute promotional setup. Additionally, you will directly engage with customers to ensure they find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all visual elements are displayed with current merchandise and reflect current market trends
- Ensure all visual merchandising standards and directions are maintained
- Execute on promotional set up and seasonal change-overs, vendor initiatives, and maintenance of store fixtures and signage
- Work in conjunction with the management team to plan and execute departmental standards & initiatives
- Participate in general store upkeep including restocking, seasonal changeover, inventory, pricing and signing
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 6 months previous experience setting up window and floor displays in a retail environment
- Ability to read and understand a planogram, floor set, or visual guide
- Able to lift minimum 25 lbs
- Comfortable bending, lifting, kneeling, comfort with ladders, etc.
- Enrolled or completed High School
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Passion for the community through volunteer, sport, etc.
- Experience volunteering for a community event
